How soft reset Samsung Gleam?
I have my phone a little wet half the buttons do not work to send, 1 4 and 7, how soft to reset?
A soft reset is basically taking the battery and then putting it back in my footsteps and test your phone may start working properly again. (1) Immediately remove the battery. VERY VERY IMPORTANT! (2) As soon as possible (preferably within 20-30 minutes). Remove phone using Torx T6 screwdriver. (Get this off eBay or service depots, etc) Make an emergency trip to Sears / RadioShack / ACE / Depot Service / etc. (3) Clean / dry as much as you can, using Q-Tips (4) Dry the electronics components under a desk lamp in a towel paper for 24 hours. (5) Use a hair dryer, set in warm. Dry your phone. Make sure your battery and SIM card is out of the phone. (6) Place the phone in rice for W 24-hour battery and SIM card (7) Reassemble the phone (8) put back together (9) Only now it is safe to place the battery in. You can also leave the battery and SIM card out. Leave the phone in the sun. Let dry.
